CAITLIN RAUX GUNTHER
Welcome to my portfolio.
"So it happens that when I write of hunger, I am really writing about love and the hunger for it, and warmth and the love of it and the hunger for it ... and then the warmth and richness and fine reality of hunger satisfied ... and it is all one." — MFK Fisher
I'm a Paris-based writer, editor, and cook. My work has appeared in Travel + Leisure, Food52, Vogue Business, People Food, Vice Munchies, Culture Trip, DVEight Magazine, and more. My essays have been rejected from the NY Times' Modern Love section nearly a dozen times — but I'm still trying. I studied psychology and American studies at Columbia University, and law at Cornell Law School and Université Panthéon-Assas.
